Story (कहानी)

(It was a dark, rainy night when Rahul’s car broke down on a deserted road.)
(अंधेरी, बारिश भरी रात थी जब राहुल की कार एक सुनसान सड़क पर खराब हो गई।)

Rahul (to himself): Oh no, the car won’t start! I need to find help.
(राहुल (खुद से): ओह नहीं, कार स्टार्ट नहीं हो रही! मुझे मदद ढूंढनी होगी।)

(He saw a dimly lit house in the distance and decided to walk there.)
(उसे दूर एक हल्की रोशनी वाला घर दिखा और उसने वहां जाने का फैसला किया।)

(As he walked, he saw a woman standing in the rain, wearing a white saree.)
(जैसे ही वह चला, उसने देखा कि एक औरत बारिश में खड़ी है, सफेद साड़ी पहने हुए।)

Rahul: Are you okay? Do you need help?
(राहुल: क्या आप ठीक हैं? क्या आपको मदद चाहिए?)

(The woman didn’t speak but smiled eerily and pointed toward the house.)

(Rahul, feeling uneasy, walked toward the house. When he reached the door, an old man opened it.)
(राहुल असहज महसूस कर रहा था, फिर भी घर की तरफ बढ़ा। जब वह दरवाजे पर पहुँचा, तो एक बूढ़े आदमी ने दरवाजा खोला।)

Old Man: What are you doing here at this hour?
(बूढ़ा आदमी: इतनी रात में तुम यहाँ क्या कर रहे हो?)

Rahul: My car broke down. I saw a woman outside. She directed me here.
(राहुल: मेरी कार खराब हो गई। मैंने बाहर एक औरत को देखा। उसने मुझे यहाँ आने का इशारा किया।)

(The old man’s face turned pale.)
(बूढ़े आदमी का चेहरा सफेद पड़ गया।)

Old Man: That’s impossible! That woman died in an accident here 10 years ago.
(बूढ़ा आदमी: यह असंभव है! वह औरत यहाँ 10 साल पहले एक दुर्घटना में मारी गई थी।)

(Rahul’s heart started pounding. He turned around, but the woman was gone.)
(राहुल का दिल तेजी से धड़कने लगा। उसने पीछे मुड़कर देखा, लेकिन औरत गायब थी।)

(The old man handed Rahul a lantern and told him to leave immediately.)
(बूढ़े आदमी ने राहुल को एक लालटेन दी और तुरंत जाने को कहा।)

(Shivering, Rahul ran back to his car. When he looked into the rearview mirror, he saw the woman smiling at him from the backseat.)
(कांपते हुए, राहुल अपनी कार की ओर भागा। जब उसने रियरव्यू मिरर में देखा, तो वह औरत पीछे की सीट पर मुस्कुरा रही थी।)

(And then… everything went dark.)

(When Rahul opened his eyes, he was lying inside his car. His head was spinning, and the rain was still pouring outside.)

(He tried to start the car, and this time, miraculously, the engine roared to life.)

(There was a news article from exactly 10 years ago: “Young Woman Dies in a Hit-and-Run Accident.”)

(The article mentioned that the driver had never been found.)

Old Man: That driver was never caught. And since then, she roams these roads, waiting…
(बूढ़ा आदमी: वह ड्राइवर कभी पकड़ा नहीं गया। और तब से, वह इन सड़कों पर भटक रही है, किसी का इंतज़ार कर रही है…)

Rahul (shaking): Waiting for what?
(राहुल (कांपते हुए): किसका इंतज़ार?)

(The old man looked deep into Rahul’s eyes.)

Old Man: Waiting for the driver who killed her.

(Rahul gasped. His hands turned cold.)

Rahul: But… what does that have to do with me?

(The old man’s voice was barely a whisper now.)
(बूढ़े आदमी की आवाज अब धीमी फुसफुसाहट जैसी थी।)

Old Man: That car… the one that hit her… it belonged to your father.

(The wind howled outside as the old man placed a trembling hand on Rahul’s shoulder.)

Old Man: She will come for you. And this time, she won’t disappear.

(Rahul’s breath became shallow. He needed to get out of here. He needed to run.)

(But as he turned toward his car, the streetlight flickered… and a familiar, eerie voice whispered in his ear.)
